Maraton

Described as "shamelessly melodic", the Marathon breaks the boundaries and blends elements of prog, rock and pop. Since its inception in 2010, the band has been trying to create a style of music that combines the rhythmic heaviness of bands like Mars Volta with the pop aesthetic of Muse. The band has been praised for their amazing and energetic live performances with claims that "Bergersen's high falsette delivery is absolutely incredible" (Everything Is Noise) and "it's the voice that triggers goose bumps in places you didn't even know they could appear" ( Heavymetal.no). The band has shared the stage with Enslaved, Mando Diao, Circus Maximus and just returned home after a solid European tour with Leprous at the start of 2020.
