Nils Bech

About the stream

Nils Bech is a singer, composer and performance artist. He is renowned for his ethereal voice, unique combinations of classical arrangements and traditional pop music structures and his highly conceptual and unique live shows. From a electronic dance music with a show to match it to a sacral and visually beautiful experience, Bech`s live shows can offer almost anything. The one thing you know before seeing it, is that it will be an experience for life. His performances can remind of taking part in a movie, so what this experience will offer will definitely be worth seeing.

Bech has performed at institutions like La Biennale di Venezia, New Museum, Henie Onstad Kunstsenter and festivals ranging from Roskilde in Denmark to CTM Festival in Berlin. He has released four studio albums, amongst others with highly respected DFA Records. As one the most distinct and recognizable artists of contemporary music, Bech manages to combine avant-gardist pop with dance and performance art, with results that are beyond comparison.

In 2018 and 2019 Nils Bech did a few, very exclusive concerts at the Vigeland Museum; all were sold out in less than a minute. Finally we have the opportunity to show the rest of the world what happened in the interplay between Bech’s music and Vigaeland’s sculptures. Nils Bech invites you to a streamed version of a very special night at the museum, on Maundy Thursday, 9th of April. Participating: Nils Bech, Silas Henriksen, Oslo Strings, Sara Övinge, Nils Martin Larsen and Andreas Løwe.
