Fieh

About the experience

Fieh delivers music that makes parts of your body start moving to the groove totally on their own. A smooth mixture of jazz, funk and soul with obvious nods to the 70s that are merged with hiphop and pop from more recent decades. Recently the octet released their debut album “Cold Water Burning Skin” on reknowned Decca Music, and got raving reviews (even Elton John has declared he likes it). The musical collective are really on their way to put their mark on the music industry, reaching far beyond Norway`s borders.

Anyone who has experienced a concert with Fieh, knows that it is a real experience. One needs to be more than ice cold not to get sucked into their energy and presence.

In addition to singer Sofie Tollefsbøl, the bant consists of Ola Øverby (drums), Andreas Rukan (bass), Jørgen Kasbo (guitar), Edvard Synnes (keys), Lyder Øvreås Røed (trumpet), Solveig Wang (choir and moog) and The Arnesdotter Lien (choir).

About the concert

Welcome to a surreal world and a curious visual journey together with Fieh and director Daniel Paida. The old library now resembles a place from a different world, maybe beyond our own time. This is a curious place where everything keeps changing and time and space dissolves, and where Fiehs performance er with us on this obscure trip.
