About Emma McGrath

Emma McGrath is an artist from Hertfordshire, found just North of London. Her life has revolved around music ever since she picked up the guitar at the age of 9. Soon after, playing guitar led to the natural progression towards Emma discovering songwriting, something she found herself using to express all the things she was thinking but didn't feel able to say.

Now, at the age of 23, Emma has just released her 4th EP titled: call me when you find your way home. The title comes from the song 'Silent Warnings' which she wrote for her mother, a relationship Emma touches upon frequently in her writing. Emma doesn't like to go into detail when it comes to explaining songs as she says "I want people to connect to my songs in their own way, relate them to their own lives".

Emma has received plays on BBC Radio 1 and maintained lasting support from BBC Introducing, PRSF and Arts Council England.
