During 2019 brenn. established themselves as one of the best live artists in Norway, their shows at festivals like Roskilde, Malakoff and Øyafestivalen being widely praised. In the hands of brenn., rock proves itself as bold, free, informal and playful, with inventive references to other music genres.

The band’s debut album Elsker was released in October 2019 and received acclaim from critics as well as fans, showing that brenn. is definitely here to stay. It was followed by the artist’s first headline tour, which included sold-out concerts in both Oslo and Trondheim. Thanks to their energetic live shows, both on festivals and at their own concerts, brenn. was nominated for “Best Live Artist” at the award show P3 Gull, as well as two nominations for the Spellemann award (“Best Rock” and “Breakthrough”) in 2019.
