Axel Flóvent (Winter Solstice Live Stream)

About the stream

On December 22, 2023, I’ll be celebrating Winter Solstice with a live stream acoustic show filmed in my mother's house in the east of Iceland - in Hallormstaðarskogur - I will play new unreleased songs, some old songs, and few Christmas tunes as well. Hope you’ll decide to join me on your screen on this festive day.

About the artist:
Born and raised in the Northern Icelandic fishing village of Húsavík, the world initially met Axel Flóvent in 2015 when he unveiled his independent debut Forest Fires EP. The title track ‘Forest Fires’ eventually gathered north of 75 million Spotify streams and counting.

He engaged audiences with his Quiet Eyes EP [2017], Tourist EP [2020], full-length debut You Stay by the Sea [2021], and his collaborative EP Coexist [2022], amassing over the years over 100 million streams and performing live across multiple tours and Festivals around the world.

In November 2023, Axel Flóvent shared his new single 'When The Sun Goes Down', the first track off his awaited sophomore album that was recorded in London with producers MyRiot (London Grammar, Aurora) and will be out in 2024 through Nettwerk.
