Ned Ashcroft – Softness (The Lost Tapes)

This will be the ONLY time I ever perform a handful of songs/poems which I wrote for the Softness album, but didn't get round to recording. This period in my life is ending, and I'm moving on, but I wanted to sing these songs on the record just once. I'll also be playing some fan favourites from the album, along with some special guests, all right from the Roundhouse EMI studio where "Softness" was recorded, mixed, and born.

The live stream thing is a new vibe for me too, but I think it's really cool...so come for some gentle Wednesday night November soulfood.

Hot off releasing 3 EPs in 2023, he's releasing a Live Album in November 2023, followed by a full 18-track break-up Album in January 2024. Expect a fusion of singer-songwriting, jazz, rap and folk that's been described by JazzFM as "very, very exciting... extraordinary."
